Do you agree with Winnie the Pooh? A. A. Milne quote

"Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them." When I first read this, I thought Piglet would be the character to say this quote, but I guess there's more to Pooh than just eating honey. I know he means more to these words than the plants, but I've often thought that some weeds are lovely. Do you think Pooh actually meant weeds, or to give people, you normally wouldn't associate with, a chance, or something else? That statement must be idiomatically said by Pooh. "weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them" for me it means weeds are strangers around and once a certain person would learn to appreciate another person and learn to create bond with that person, then the admiration develops mutually which will then blossom. Sometimes in life when we feel worthless, another person comes to make ourselves feel and know our value.

That was a good interpretation of the quote.

I think he is referring to people in a roundabout way.

I bet he meant people because there is a lot of deeper meaning in Pooh.

I agree with Pooh. There are some lovely weeds around and there are weeds that can also be used for food and natural herbal remedies.

If you think about it, Pooh is not wrong

The statement is subject to different interpretations. I'd interpret it as don't judge a book by its cover.
