What do you use to know when you have appointments?

I get what you call a diary and I put down when I have an appointment or something important I have to know in there. I fill my pages up that sometimes I cannot read everything that I wrote there. I carry it around with me. So, what do the rest of you use to keep track of important things that you need to write down because so much to remember in your head?
