My Grandchildren went rock climbing.

United States
December 7, 2017 12:43am CST
Every month now my daughter Coral is taking the kids for more adventurous outings. Last month, they went indoor skydiving, and tonight they went rock climbing. Dillon made it to the top, but Skylar couldn't do it. They came home at 8:30 and crawled into bed, completely exhausted, so I know they're going to be sore tomorrow. The picture is one Coral gave to me showing Dillon near the top.

I thought so too, but I'm afraid of heights, so I thought it might just be me.

As long as they are safe and everything is controlled I think it is wonderful for children to have such adventures and gain experience.

The rope he's on will only come down slowly if he lets go. I think it's good for them to get out of their comfort levels.

After reading your comment, I asked him if he was proud of himself. He told me he was sad because he could only climb 2 of the 3 walls. I told him to be proud because this is amazing. He's always rather hard on himself.

@misunderstood_zombie It's great when kids love physical exercise, a lot better than spending all the day playing video games.

That's how happy a grandparent is about the successful activities of his/her grandchildren. I am a grandpa. I always look something for my grandchildren to reach their plans in life. As of now, they're still kids. They're still studying.

I love their names. It's short, simple and unique . I wish we could try rock climbing in the next year
