My friend once said,'Relationships can never be smooth'.That time,it did not make any sense to me but now when I think about it,it actually makes a lot of sense.Whatever she said is absolutely right.Relationships can never be smooth.But it doesn't mean that relationships do not last or is a unhealthy one.The quality of relationship depends on you.If whether you want to be close or not or anything for that matter depends on how you work things out.There cannot be a relationship without misunderstanding.There definitely cannot be a relationship without small small fights.It's because each and everyone of us in this world are unique and different in our own ways.Even identical twins have different opinions.If you want the relationship to work listen to what the other person has to say.Its up to you whether to accept it or not.But don't have the mindset that the other person should listen to everything what you have to say.You don't have the control over others life.Instead,you can try to make the other person understand.If there's a misunderstanding the best thing to do is to talk things out instead of being without talking about it.If you do so,it develops a feeling of hatred within you and the relationship becomes worse when the suppressed issue erupts like a volcano some day when there's another fight.Also,only if you talk things out you can find a solution to the problem instead of blowing it up and making things worse. When it comes to relationship any kind of relationship for that matter be it love or friendship or marriage,inter-dependant relationships are the best.Always remember,No one can be your other half.It's the stuff we here in movies.But that's not true.Dependant and Independant relationships never last.If you are too much dependant on the other person you just cannot be without the other person, you want that person to be with you wherever you go and be a part of whatever you do.You become possessive and want to seek more attention from the other person.Its not nice to be over clingy and it's not a healthy relationship.Its definitely not possible for one to be by your side 24/7 and have his/her full attention on you all the time.That's not the way relationship works.That's not the way life works.Independent relationship is when you are busy doing your own work and the other is is busy doing his/her own work.If that is the case,there is definitely no room for bonding and therefore it's a unhealthy one.An inter-dependant relationship is inbetween dependant and independant relationships.It's when you are independent,the other person is independent, both of you are happy by yourself but both of enjoy each other's company,there's a bonding between the two and therefore it's a healthy relationship and is the ultimate key to happiness. Who agrees with what I say!??
