~Chilly, Raining & A Blessing~
December 7, 2017 8:41am CST
Good morning everyone! I hope you slept well. It is a chilly morning and supposed to be a chilly day today. It's 54 degrees here right now and the high is 58 degrees for the day! It is raining and it's supposed to do that all day as well. =) I got woke up earlier than usual because the little one I watch got here early. Somehow I lost a day and didn't realize today is Thursday? Lol, not sure how I managed that one! Yesterday, one of our neighbors said they were getting a new Christmas tree. They asked if we wanted their old one. I said yes, how much do you want for it? She said girl-it's Christmas, you can have it!!! We are so grateful for that! We decorated the tree last night and I put my Christmas table cloth on the table. Tonight we will hang the stockings up. =) God is so good! I hope you have a wonderful day!

That's awesome your neighbor gave you that tree! I had a neighbor do that for us, too, one year, it was one they actually cut. I don't remember why they had an extra one, but they did and gave it to us. They were new neighbors we hardly knew yet, too! We forget what day it is all the time, but I think it's because we don't have regular days when we do certain things. We don't even do our grocery shopping on the same day every week anymore. When I was working, I shopped on Saturday mornings, so now whatever day we shop I get thrown into thinking it's Saturday, lol.

that's so sweet of her to give you her old tree for you all to have a tree we're in the lower 30's with a wind chill like in the teens today & a flurry of snow for the next 3-4 days so I say winter is pretty much here now Don't feel bad about losing a day I do it all the time it's just the norm.

No chills here. Miami is filled with sun but there are breezes. No Christmas trees up in here. Not sure how Christmas will be celebrated because there were gifts given to in celebration of Jesus. Jesus was a gift giver so perhaps we should just be grateful to be able to see another Christmas.
