Snow's here.

Snow has arrived and it's falling thick and fast. It's being driven by a relentless wind from the West and the flakes are large, piling up in corners and chasing people along emptying streets. I want to stop the car and give ill-prepared people a lift home but that would be viewed with great suspicion. Would you get into a car with me on your own in a grand blizzard?

I haven't seen any real snow since 2008. But that's what I get for moving to Florida.

I'd have to think twice about it.

@judyev I used to hitch rides a lot when I lived on the north coast but went to university in Belfast. Only once did anything untoward happen, when an elderly gent gave me a lift and continually "mistook" my knee for the gear stick.

I have never experience snow. Here in my country it does not snow, in my city.

Probably not. You appear to be romantically dangerous, enough to tempt me, but maybe not.

I've offered people lifts before and got a mixed reception. I'm in Wales and we're having hail at the moment; hope it doesn't turn to heavy snow before I get away!
