Mixed fare on the tube last night. The daily Christmas movie was Lifetime Channel’s “My Christmas Prince” which is the usual American commoner did not know she was dating a European prince of a made up obscure country. The movie was pleasant enough with leading actress Alexis Knapp being very pretty. Those with long memories will remember Parker Stevenson (“Hardy Boys”) and Pamela Sue Martin (“Nancy Drew” and “Dynasty”) playing the parents. “The Surface” was an odd movie starring Sean Astin as a suicidal man taking a boat into Lake Michigan and running into a plane crash and saving the pilot. It is very talky as the men’s back stories are revealed in explaining what brought them to this point. Anything good on your hump day viewing?

Fire coverage from out your way, and documentaries on Yosemite and John Muir.

I watched Vikings and Knightfall. Two very bloody TV shows! It was definitely a blood fest in my house last night

I love watching the Hardy Boys. Last night I fell asleep to Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye doing the shuffle on White Christmas. At one point I woke up at the end and everyone was singing the title song and snow was falling.

Have you seen the commercials for the Syfy show Happy? Based on your viewing choices it looks like your kind of show. I have not seen it myself, but from what I have read it sounds like something you might enjoy.I I caught a rerun of 2 Broke Girls.

@JohnRoberts It looks weird! Anyone who watched Hallmark movies, and right after horror movies is plain 'ol awesome. They might tend to appreciate weird!

My Christmas Prince sounds familiar. Not sure though. Yesterday's Christmas viewing was a departure from the romance Christmas movies to a western. Christmas Miracle at Sage Creek on Netflix starred David Carradine and Michael Parks. It was very good.
