Is it right to call a man hen- peck ,who loves his wife and listens to her words

After marriage a husband and wife shares everything they have with each other, money, happiness, sorrows. Some ladies are very sensitive when they are hurt, especially when a harsh talk is said by their in- laws. In such cases most of the husbands take the side of their wife. When this is done most of the in- laws call him as hen- pecked. Does a husband have no right to stand for his wife. Should he always listen to his parents? Are his parents doing the right thing. Now he is not only their son,but also a husband. Is it wrong if he listens to his wife?

That is what my hubby calls his two older brothers , hen pecked hubbies, they re indeed afraid of their wives because they rule the household and jobs

But I feel their wives should not do like that, their husband won't be respected by others and will make fun of them.

I guess it depends on the situation, mine has been told he is but that is because he uses me as an excuse at times to get out of things, like going out with the men. Unless it is fishing or something like that he isn't interested. He isn't a bar guy. I don't mind him using me as an excuse for that either as I know he would just rather be home with us then at some bar. So it is all good there.

It's not bad to support wives, but they should not support anyone blindly

I think the man should be head of the family. But then, I still believed that it will change in terms of gender equality. I think women should still keep respect for her husband's right to be a man in his own family.

A husband should stand with their wives. Its who they married and not the in-laws.

Yes , you are absolutely right. A woman leaves her parents and relatives behind and stay with strangers in a new house. She will take time to get adjusted with her new environment. So it is the husband who should make her feel comfortable with the new house and people.
