Do you still have halloween candy??

I usually put a small stash of Halloween candy in the freezer to use for decorating gingerbread house, cookies and other baking needs. I forgot to do that this year. Nevertheless we still have a ton of candy sitting in the candy jars. My kids usually eat one or two pieces a day. So it lasts a long while. How much do your kids usually eat for sweets?/do they still have any Halloween candy?

If I had bought Halloween candy, it would not have lasted as long as yours has. No way. Therefore, I mostly stayed out of the candy buying line.

@Daelii Truth: I am a sugar addict. About a year and a half ago I said no more! on refined sugar. I have lost about 40 pounds. No way am I skinny now but I did make some head way. I make a killer pumpkin pie using dates for sweetener. Anyway, I really try to not eat very much sugar. If I make sugar cookies I plan to keep just a few and give most away.

@sallypup I gave up adding sugar to things for lent. I felt so good since not having it, I don't want to use it anymore. I never thought I'd like unsweetened coffee, but after not having it.. it tastes great. I know I splurged a little on cookies today and a sweet yesterday. Its dang cravings! But I'm also feeling rather bleh. So I know tomorrow, I'm not having sweets. I really feel better not eating it!

I haven't had Halloween candy in years, not since my kids lived at home and went Trick or Treating.

@Daelii I'm not a candy person, so there's no real will power there to worry about.

Never had any Halloween here and no candy. It is always nice when some candy is saved.

That can be a good thing if one is playing to start a diet/health changes!

What a great idea, because even if you buy the kits, they never have enough candy items.

Its not, plus as much as I like the kits, they usually just have a few different types. So there isn't much room for creativity and finer details.
