I just went for a beautiful 30 minute walk in the wind, cold and snow. Yes, I need to toughen my body for what lies ahead. I went out mainly to buy my 2018 agenda as already I need to write some important events and appointments. Do you use an agenda? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Besides appointments, each day I record the time I get up and the time I go to sleep. I record everything I eat and drink, also the time, and when I have a bowel movement. I record how I react to different foods so that I know what agrees with my body and what doesn't. If you use an agenda, what do you record?

I record almost everything including my water consumption. My planner doesn't only include schedules of the day but I attach photos and drawings too.

That's fantastic! When I was working, I had a different agenda just for work. I worked as a sales rep and it was vital to record which customers I would go and see and when it was time to go.

The agenda is a very important part of my life. But I only use it for important appointments and events. I do not record may basic acts I realize every day.

@Meramar I have a hard time dealing with pain as pain meds don't work for me and so I have to work on prevention.

I do keep a lot of lists, but not for those activities. I can see the benefits for doing so.

It helps me a lot to keep an eye on my health. Since I record it then I know that I'm drinking enough water in a day or else I will not know for sure.

I use a calender and write down appointments with the dentist and doctor etc and when I need to buy fur the phone.. and have a small book where I keep track of my blood sugar - am also learning to eat smarter, as I have learned that some have become free from diabetes that way..

I have used one for years and find it very helpful to record important information. I also write my appointments on my calendar so that I can spot them quickly.

You really keep a lot of records! I think I'll start using a planner next year because I got one as a gift recently. I've never used one.

That's what happens when one has health challenges. I need to keep a close watch on how what I put into my body affects my health.

I am not as precise as you, but I do make to do lists mostly. Appointments and reminders of items I need to accomplish. If I hear something interesting on the TV or radio I will write it down on a piece of paper.
