Yesterday afternoon my son accompanied me to the city proper because I had to get something. It was 4:30pm and it was already getting dark. I had to ask a tricycle driver to bring us straight to the office where I wanted to go and I should pay him double.
We stayed in the office for just 15 minutes and when we went out to the streets it was already dark. Because it was cold I asked my son that we can have hot noodles in a sidewalk pavement. But before taking our seats, I told my son to buy 2 loaves of bread; and then this building lit its Christmas lights.
I was in awe looking at the sides of the private building that I took a photo. Well, practically almost all buildings here in our city are lit with white or colored Christmas bulbs either steady or blinking.
I and my son arrived home at 6:30pm and it was already dark and colder too.

@JustBhem no it is not a 5-star hotel. my city is not a 5-star as well, so we don't expect a 5-star hotel. maybe there in your city Davao, your hotels there are 12 storey high maybe?

The Christmas lights are everywhere and they're very pretty in the city. I love watching them every December.

i see some lights on FB about how houses there are full of decorative lights. i also wonder how much should the owners of the well lit house pay for their electricity bills? well, anyway, it is just on Christmas that they pay much.

during night time, the lights outside our house is lit but only until 9:30PM. the tree inside is also lit, together with the Java lamp.

yes our weather here now is colder. but during summer, it is so extremely hot. i prefer to wear cotton during summer and when cold, i can just use my sweater.

yes, especially if the colored lights flash in synchrony or alternate. or when they outline an image.
