Coming in at # 4 on my favorite songs from 1989 series is, one of the greatest power ballads of all time, every rose has it's thorn, by Poison, it was a huge hit for them, coming in at # 1 on the billboard hot 100, for 3 weeks, it was also written by Bret Michael's lead singer of the band, he wrote it in a laundry mat, after calling his girlfriend and hearing another guy in the back ground . Check out a sample of the lyrics below. I think you will like them. Was it something I said or something I did. Did my words not come out right? Tho I tried not to hurt you. Tho I tried. But I guess that's why they say. Every rose has it's thorn. Just like every night has it's dawn. Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song. Every rose has it's thorn. Yes it does.
