Still lightly snowing, and probably will until 2 or 3 pm but still not much on the ground. It is only covered in spots. Friend was supposed to come down today but I haven't seen any sand trucks or plows..(Not that you really need the plows) so it could be slippery out, so I told him not to bother. Something is wrong with my main computer..not getting the windows screen so I am on the Chromebook. I will play with the other one later and see if I can bypass the start menu. What is new with you on this snowy Saturday?

It looks really pretty stuck to the trees. It is supposed to get cold though, that I could do without!

@snowy22315 do you ever take pictures to use with your posts? I like seeing the snow on trees although too much of it and it gets too heavy.

When it snows in your area do they use sand on the roads rather than salt? If so, I'd think that could be quite messy, even though the salt does shorten the lives of the cars unless the owners take the right precautions before hand. I'm sure no city trucks would be out around our area. That would only happen if it was raining first and then freezing or snowing on top of the frozen rain. It's been too cold recently for it to be able to rain. The little on the ground could be slightly slippery if the drivers don't use caution, but otherwise, there's not enough for any salt trucks to be out yet. Probably the main roads will be free from snow from the cars that have already driven over it, but I won't know that for sure until I head to work in an hour.

It is usually a mix of sand and ash..they may use some salt as well, but not sure they have the big salt domes here in VA that they have up North.

@snowy22315 my sister lives in VA, you're prob right that salt isn't used much there. That's prob pretty common for most southern states. That's why some residents from the north prefer buying used cars from the south. Less chance of them already having rust.

No fun to have computer problems. I'm probably going to get a Chromebook whenever my laptop craps out. I really like them. I've had my big Gateway all-in-one desk computer since 2011, just got my HP laptop a few years ago. Luckily they both converted to Windows10 without any problems that a lot of my friends went through, so I feel lucky. I hope your main computer rights itself somehow. Nothing new expected today. I hope your snow doesn't get in the way of anything you need to do. I'd love to see a little snow here this winter.

The problem with the chromebook is it isn't quite as functional as the computer. Also, I need to figure out how to get adblock on here because it is using more data.

You will never make a snowman at that rate of snow falling.

With too little snow, you may have to watch Frosty the Snowman to get the full snow effect.

We had some snow but nothing that stuck to the ground. It was still cold and a little windy. I spent Saturday at home in my bed watching christmas movies.
