Can you figure out what I'm making?

Yesterday, I posted about something I had crocheted about 100 things of. There is also another clue in the comments. :) My kids and I also worked on painting 3 boards last night and are about to work on them some more today. It is Christmas related.. and we are still working on making them. Can anyone figure out what is being made? :)
Over the last few years I've been turning scraps of yarn into mini crochet stockings. Its fun, relaxing, and an easy project to work on in the car or sitting...
