I was taking a quiz the other day and there were two true/false questions.
1. True/False: Watermelon is a berry.
2. True/False: Strawberry is a berry.
Of course my answers were:
1. False
2. True
I was so sure I'd gotten those right. Turns out I was wrong.
While we all consider a strawberry a berry, and a watermelon a fruit and not a berry, scientifically it is the other way around. And while we are at, blackberry and raspberry are not berries but a banana and an eggplant are berries.
Shocking right!?!

Scientifically. I forgot what the explanation was though.
