Do you make sure you have all the ingredients?

My Mom calls me and she's out of baking soda and needs to make 16 dozen cookies fot tomorrow.
I always look at everything before pouring in the bowl.
She expected me to go to the store and buy it. But i wont be going that way until tomorriw morning.

I make sure I have all the ingredients or at least a sensible substitute.

Yes, but the main baking soda and powder are hard to substitute.

I try to make sure i have all ingredients before doing anything. Sometimes i don't but luckily i'm only 5 mins from a store if i needed something.

I have never ran out or usually buy it eithin reason. But with baking i don't do it often.
