Acalypha is an ordinary flower that grows abundantly around here but this cluster is so dense that I am seeing such a growth for the first time. They are also called tiger tails. The weather here is just right for my garden and I see colour all over. What's growing in your garden?

@allknowing Star apple, sour sop, plums , mangoes -when in season - avocados, bananas and lots of jelly coconuts. The last hurricane that hit us took the apple tree.

@Kandae11 I have not heard of jelly coconuts. How do they look and taste? We too had a mini tornado a couple of years ago but although there was devastation the trees have come back to life with vigour. We did lose a jack fruit tree but there are saplings from that tree.

I haven't seen this kind of plant before. Is it eatable?

@allknowing Here in my city eating is something important. When we get to know something we don't know before, usually we will think is it eatable?

It is that time of the year where flowers proliferate here while snow is there at yours in abundance. Would love to see some pictures of snow

With the cool weather we won't see much growing right now. A few have winter vegetables going.

Interesting looking plant... They look like it may be itchy to touch, but I'm sure they are not...

I'm sure my Mum had an acalypha. Although I'm not a great gardener I do know the names of quite a number of plants thanks to Mum telling me about them.

There I think you are better than me as I fumble with names.
