During heavy rainy season ,if a stranger asks you if he can stay in your house till rain stops, will you allow him to come into the house?

We have seen that when it rains heavily people run to find a shelter ,so that they do not get wet.
If a stranger rings your doorbell and asks you if you will allow him to stay in your house till it stops raining, will you allow?
We might feel pity and sometimes allow, but is it safe to allow?
What would you do in such a situation, when you are all alone at home?

Even probably i would do the same, Now days we can't show humanity. If we show humanity we might get into trouble.

I might feel put on the spot and say yes but that would not be very safe for my family. It would be better if I said that the stranger could wait on the porch since there’s a roof to keep them dry as long as the rain isn’t blowing hard from the wind.

I will just give them an umbrella and a Rain Coat. But I wouldn't let them in, it's too dangerous.

No. I can lend him stuff to keep himself dry. That's all that I can do for him/her. Better to be safe than sorry.
