Less but better quality visitors

It's not just me. On Christmas and New Year holidays visitors drop everywhere except on shopping sites. Even Mylot will be less crowded in a week or so. But despite my website performing bad on the number of daily visits, my adsense revenue seem to be the same and even slightly better than last year. The reason I think is because quality visitors are more common due to all the Christmas shopping ads that they probably click on. So even though I get less visitors, I'm still happy with the outcome. How are things with you?

@LadyDuck the thing about websites is that you need to commit yourself to it. Because you need to make that money to cover the cost and earn some extra.

@Madshadi I have a free blog that I do not update for a very long time. My husband has a couple of websites, the cost is about the same.

Summertime when things were slow - it was said mylotters were enjoying the warm outdoors, and come winter things will pick up. That hasn't happened yet - but there are some busy days still.
