watching pirated cd tapes

'Piracy is a crime', I always hear this statement everytime I watch movies in 'original' cd tapes. But, as much as I wanted to, I also end up watching them from pirated tapes simply because they don't cost that much, some have a subtitle which is a benefit because it can make me understand more. English is not my primary language that is why. It warned viewers that watching pirated tapes is like stealing. If that is so, I am guilty with the crime. Good to know that I wasn't imprisoned because of buying such. But I'm just concerned that my punishment can be done in other ways. Karma has its own right timing. Anyway, I still don't get hit by it or maybe i was because bad things happen once in awhile. Hope not at all.
