Back from lunch out

I went out to lunch by myself while my husband was off at the Apple store exchanging his iWatch. I was in the mood for their hamburger chopped salad and I know the bartenders so I didn't care about being their on my own. While I was there I chatted with the chef and he asked me to proofread the new menu for him. I found a few mistakes but the woman who prints it up did a much better job with this one that she did on the last one. It was fun to see what new additions are coming--stuffed meatloaf, truffle fries, lobster roll, yum yum yum.
I stopped at the liquor store on the way home to buy a bottle of Marsala wine. I need it for what I'm making for dinner tonight.
Now I'm just relaxing for awhile. It is so nice to not have a mountain of dishes to deal with for once.

I'm cutting and sewing the pieces for the most recent clue of the mystery quilt I'm working on. 120 squares to go.

@NJChicaa a mystery quilt....they tell you your fabric requirements. Then each week you are given directions to make a unit. In the end you assemble it and learn what it will look like. I've done two. Enjoyed both of them.

About to leave the office. Will do some research later on what to wear for my Sunday lunch date with a long time friend.
