My Crazy Wonderful Weekend

This weekend was crazy! From snow down here in Alabama to no power and off the grid living.
To Christmas trees to dusty furniture.
Walking the dogs and Roscoe not wanting to get in the backyard.
Cooking old fashion meals to store bought frozen pizza.
I did not leave the house for three days, well my property, that was awesome.
I have not driven since last Wednesday, that was awesome.

It must have been quite a storm if you lost power?
We also had some snow today but overall it was very spiritual and peaceful weekend.

It is predicted that in the next couple of days which would be Tuesday and Wednesday that we will get about the same. It will be the first major storm of the year.

Here we got 8-12 inches, I say 12. Alabama is not equipped to deal with snow.

That IS so nice staying home for that many days. I could almost say that I stayed home for 3 days, but on Saturday I wanted to get out and get groceries and go to the deli market, but otherwise........Next weekend we'll be on the go as we have a Christmas party to go to out of town.

My weekend was busy. Went to the Christmas Stroll in our downtown area with my sister, then had a ton of writing to do once I was back home.

It was a busy one. On Saturday morning, a client wanted me to work on his visual dictionary. I billed him 24 hours, had to work from Saturday to Sunday. Also, did my laundry. Washed few pairs of jeans, beddings, towels, and my daily clothes. Lacked sleep but I'm happy because I was productive during the weekend.
