It has come to my attention that some people were worried about me since I hadn't been on in a while. I'm okay, it's just been busy around here. Sorry for causing undue alarm!
Today I hope to get some more holiday shopping out of the way, as well as pop into the 50% off sale at Savers. If I'm really lucky, Savers may have the gift items I need (but I can never depend on that). Most likely I'll find some clothes for the kids there.
Yesterday I did some grocery shopping at Costco and ordered our holiday roasts from Whole Foods, plus I found this gumball machine from my local Buy Nothing group. I'm planning to fill it with M&Ms and give it to my youngest stepson (along with a roll of pennies) for Christmas.
I'll try to pop on here at least once a week so no one worries again. I'd like to say that I'll be on more often, but no promises.

I found a little bit, but still have some shopping to do. I had hoped to find some ride-on things for the youngest three, but didn't find anything of decent quality. It was a bit of a gamble, as those are getting snatched up this time of the year.

The opening inside this one is too small for big gumballs, and I think he'd appreciate the M&Ms more than gum.

I have a similar gumball machine. Loved it when I was a kid. I would put in gumballs and store a jar of pennies by it. my friends thought it was great. As I got older I put in marbles. I hope your stepson enjoys it as much as I have
