Political Fights Should Stop After Elections!

I love watching UFC fights. Why? Before a match UFC fighters intimidate each other. Well, that is necessary for the promotion of the match. Then they bring out everything they got (physically and mentally) to beat each other in the ring. At the end of the bout, they hug each other. The loser congratulates the winner. The winner tells the loser - "That was a hell of a fight. I was just lucky!" I wish politicians would be like those UFC fighters. After the elections they should put their nastiness that happened during the campaign behind them. They should work together for the good of the people. Sadly, politicians are childish. The losers believe he/she lost because he/she got cheated. The winners claim he/she won fair and square. Their supporters make things worse. The media makes things worst. Some celebrities claim their candidate won. False accusations and fake news are all we see on TV and hear from the airwaves. They blame everything to the winner. In the U.S.A., a so-called celebrity is even blaming their president for the raging wild fire in California! Holy smoke! Whew, politics is making politicians and their supporters crazy! In World Boxing matches - both the winner and the loser cash in.

@Kandae Sorry, I did not go over my piece before posting. I corrected the typos. I am sure you intended to write booth and cashes.

What I hate most though, is when they have each other killed. I can take the bickering and all, but not the killings.

@toniganzon Thank the Heavens, I moved my family to Canada. I would have been 10 feet underneath the ground long time ago.

In boxing the competition is not based on ideological differences. People get oversensitive when it comes to that.

There's already too much drama in politics but when the politicians behave like kids it gets even uglier.

I wish they'd stop bad-mouthing each other too and get on with doing what's best for the country.

@JudyEv That would be nice! But that is not the case in many countries . . especially the USA.
