Snow and Laundry

For me this is a beautiful day. It snowed while I was in the pool this morning. I came out to find a light layer of white fluffy snow on my car. It was an easy brush off.
I knew I would be going to my son's today to wait for the guy to arrive and install his Internet, so doing laundry today made the best sense, also it needed to be done. Two loads worth of needing to be done.
He called me early and told me he wanted me to come right then, as he was getting in the shower and didn't know when they would arrive, but they were scheduled before noon.
Well guess what. They never showed. No surprise to me, considering who he was going through for his Internet. So he called and surprise, surprise, they have no record of any installation. I told him AT&T had the worst customer service and going through them was a bad idea. I have a feeling he has changed his mind about going through them, especially since he didn't reschedule with them, and he's going to check with his bank about the charges that were supposed to be taken at the time he called originally.
So, off to work he went and I got my laundry done, and came home to more white fluffy goodness - wonderful snow.
Now, it's time to get back to interacting with you. I also have today's Christmas movie to watch. So far in the past 10 days, I can only recommend two movies. Christmas Miracle at Sage Creek. It's a western with a good plot and two seasoned actors, David Carradine and Michael Parks. The other good movie is The Christmas Candle. This one is a Christian movie, written by Max Lucado. If you are familiar with his books, you will know this is a must see good movie. All the rest have been of the romance variety, except the one I watched yesterday, which was also a decent movie - Angels in the Snow. So there you have it, not two but three movies I found that have merit for this Christmas season. We'll see if the movie I pick today will be noteworthy.
So, that has been my day so far. I hope you had a good day, tell me about it. Thanks for reading.

I definitely want to see The Christmas Candle, I will have to try to find it. =)
My day has been pretty good, just did the usual chores, home schooling my kids and taking care of my babies.
I hope you have a great evening!

That's really frustrating. Here there's usually no upfront payment before or on the day of installation. In fact I'm waiting for someone to come and do that too because I just switched to another provider. I hope your son finds a better provider to install the Internet.

I have heard of The Christmas Candle, but haven't read or seen it. I have AT&T internet and it did take a little while to get it set up. The main reason because they had to talk to the landlord so they can drill in the ground.

I wasn't happy with my At&t internet either, and I barely like the one I have now.
The one Max Lucado sounds quite good.

I wish there were more choices available for Internet and cable, but we only have two options here. As you get into the countryside, there are a few more, but not for the city.
A Christmas Candle is very good.

I don't know when it will be done, but I seriously hope he rethinks the idea of going with AT&T after what he went through yesterday.

Happy to hear you had the snow you love so much! lol We were lucky to escape CT before they got hit with six inches at the shore. We would have had more, since we live in a higher elevation. My son is going to check our house and make sure we got plowed tomorrow. I'm proud to Day that I haven't done laundry since the day before we left CT, but have huge loads to do. When? Beats me! My brother flies down tomorrow.

Yes, it is horrible of them, but they've gotten a reputation for being the worst customer service around.
I'm glad you had a great ladies night out.
