Sorry for yelling but when you get something you've wanted for years and years you can't help but yell a bit!!! We went to town again yesterday, doctor's appointments again. Pain doctors because of my pain from the on the job injuries I sustained many years ago. There are a few places that don't hurt..like my left nostril, my right ear lobe...you get the idea I'm sure. I worked on the company's stocking crew and the women did the same lifting as the guys, like full cases of automobile oil over our heads, and cases of gallon bottles of distilled water from floor level to shoulder height. Anyhow I blew out my back, knees, shoulders, arms, neck, etc. I'm lucky I can walk! I got my pain medication prescription sent to the pharmacy and did my shopping and waited for my prescription to be filled. Finally at 7:45p.m. I went to pick it up an the clerk informed me that it wouldn't be until Wednesday (with luck) that I get my medication. That's when the pharmacy gets their controlled substance deliveries. I left for home furious! The pharmacy had the prescription for over five hours! They knew when I got there they didn't have enough to fill it, so why make me wait for another forty-five minutes? We got home and all my anger vanished!!!!!!! Santa had come to the house! He left a big box of Christmas decorations, a Christmas stocking, a small box with sewing machine bobbins in it...hummmm curious! I know Santa knew that I could sew and I'm sure he heard about the fire that burned down my house and everything in it including my sewing machines, could it be? I picked up the zippered tote bag and carried it and the box of bobbins in the house. I slowly opened the zippers and pulled apart the sides of the tote. I don't know where Santa found one, they're selling on EBay for well over $150 in working order, they start at $50 if you're buying them for parts. Santa left me an Elna Lotus sewing machine in perfect condition!!!!!! I've wanted one since the first came out! I keep sneaking peeks to make sure it isn't a dream! Santa is going to get a thank you he won't believe! I had tried bidding on one last month but it sold for $300+ without any accessories!!! When I see Santa I'm going to give him a hug that will rearrange his insides!!! I still can't believe I got something I have wanted so dearly for so long! Have you gotten something that you really wanted? Has it brightened your life like it has mine?

I couldn't believe the generosity of the woman that gave me the sewing machine!!!! A simple thank you card isn't enough!!! There isn't any kind of thank you that's big enough to express my gratitude!!!!! I am so totally dumbfounded, and then she included vcash to help me purchase fabric to use the machine to sew on! It wasn't just ten or twenty dollars either!!! How do you thank wonderful people like that???????????

@Morleyhunt My favorite thing to do is pay it forward. I try to do something nice for someone every day. I have so much fun doing nice things for others...just to see them smile!
