When I was quite young I worked as a hotel maid. I was not good at it. The hotel needed a person who could work very fast, get lots done and not get paid much for it. I just could not keep up with it and then there was not enough money coming in for my efforts.

@sweetloveforeve I do not work outside my home now. I am happy with all the work that I do at home: caring for the animals, gardening, baking bread, etc. I also am responsible for getting my husband to and from work and at times that is very difficult.

@sweetloveforeve That's true, and practising languages is important if you want to improve. In my case, as the clinic that I work for, is located in a touristic place, I also meet many foreign patients and have the oportunity to practise. It makes the job more interesting.

Working on a reception is good but you have to wear a fake smile for the customers which can be really tough in start :(

The payment is not very high because we make a lot of discounts to social security but it is a good job.
