I have a mountain of tulle on my ottoman..

I've been sewing like mad all day yesterday. Luckily my husband was home to help on the snuggles for our baby girl. Today though, its just me and I need to finish adding the tulle to both skirts. I need to add the band to one... and then all the embellishments. However, its imperative I get this sewing project done by tomorrow morning! Then I start the third one for baby girl (she doesn't need to wear hers to school since shes not in school yet). Wish me luck! I hope these come out how I am imagining them. So far my kids love them!

How frantic and fun. I used to love to sew. I have sat up all night at times to make little dresses, but it has not been for years.

Yesterday I was sewing as well. My nephew's birthday is Friday and I am making two designer shorts for his gift.

How nice to make outfits for your kids. I sewed many outfits for mine when they were young. Your post makes me want to get my old sewing machine out.
