Vegetable Soup For Dinner Tonight

It's a beautiful cool sunny day here in my little corner of the world. I am loving it. It's the perfect day for some homemade soup. I got the good nights sleep that I desperately needed last night thanks to my CPAP and today all seems right with the world. I have some extra energy so I decided that I would take the fresh vegetables out of the fridge, chop them up, and make a big pot of delicious homemade soup. Right now it is happily bubbling on my stove. I can't wait for dinner, it is already filling my kitchen with mouth watering aroma. So, the rest of my day can be devoted to writing and connecting with others. I just love days like this. How are you guys doing today?

It must be soup day. I have my crock pot going with homemade soup - potato/beef/onion with Cashew milk.

That sounds so good. I'll have to make that type of soup this weekend after we finish up the vegetable soup.

I finished the decorations, I wrapped a couple of gifts to bring tomorrow to the assistants of our doctors. I cannot wait to take my evening bath and put on my night gown.

Glad you're getting a proper sleep now. I love soup in just about any weather. And when it's stinking hot you can always have a cold soup.

Homemade soups are terrific. You can throw anything in them and they taste delicious. I especially like them leftover.

Monday night I made cream of broccoli soup at the request of my granddaughter. Yesterday we finished the leftovers. Today I spent most of my day running hither and yon so supper was boring. Tomorrow I plan to stay home...ill make a big pot of soup....and who knows what else.
