One of my colleague is addicted to buy new phones.

I don't know what this fellow thinks if he changes mobile phone in 1-2 months. Is it a status symbol? I have seen this guy already changed 4 phones in 6 months. For me mobile phone is not a thing on which people should spend much money. Strange people have extra money to spend on things on which they should not. What do you say? Picture is from pixabay.

We buy our cell phone and use it as long as we can. We use everything we own as long as we can.

Even I too don't buy a phone till my phone is working . It's not that if I start disliking my phone I buy a new phone.

Of course I agree with you. Sometimes I don't understand why people can spend so much especially when they can't afford them. It is always a myth for me

4 phones in 6 months? Wow. I usually use mine until something goes wrong and it can't be fixed anymore, or if buying a new one would cost about the same as it would to fix the problem.

It really is no problem when he uses extra money. But it becomes a problem when he have meager income and uses all his money just to buy phones.

I do not keep up with the trend at all. If my phone is still working, i will not buy another one I have kept my first smartphone for more than 3 years. His hobby is quite expensive

I am one who uses it sparingly. But then I am not young and retired. I know few who have multiple mobile phones, they seem to be addicted - siva

I have purchased two cellphones since they became available - I always get my son's old phones when he buys a new one - which is thrice a year. Anyway - he has stuck to the last one for over a year now.
