I've played with the alphabet challenge. I wonder if I can come up with thirty nine good things about the person I have walked with for thirty nine years? Tomorrow is the anniversary of when we made it all formal and tidy and church like. One: Inquiring mind. Never a dull moment around here. Two: Doesn't like to wear ties. Not a jeans person but no ties. Three: Hates his hair messed with. Me, too. Four: An environmentalist. Five: Loves animals though he is more hard headed than me Six: Brains. Engineering degree as well as a Human Services Masters degree. Seven: A reader. Eight: A writer Nine: A lover Ten: A walker- we have stumped up many mountain trails together Eleven: Patient. Thank God Twelve: Maternal as well as paternal. Thank God. Thirteen: A builder; carpenter; puter together type guy. Fourteen: a pizza maker. Fifteen: Must not forget. A beer maker Sixteen: a drinker of booze Seventeen: Loves to ride ferries. Eighteen: Loves to sit by the water and eat dinner Nineteen: Loves plays Twenty: puts up with my tea party ideas Twenty one: loves pie. All things pie. Twenty two: Can do math. I need someone near me who can do math. Twenty three: physically strong. Twenty four: can start a fire Twenty five: can start the weed whacker Twenty six: can wield the post pounder- guess that is in the strong category. Twenty seven: Listens to me Twenty eight: Loves cream puffs and chocolate eclairs. Twenty nine: Loves history Thirty: Is not a bully Thirty one: is a feminist Thirty two:advocates for the picked on Thirty three: tries to be reasonable Thirty four: a hard worker Thirty five: loyal Thirty six: a joker at times Thirty seven: a teacher Thirty eight: loves his daughter deeply Thirty nine: supports me emotionally as well as physically. There. Done it. Breathing time!
