Well, the "part" finally died of old age

Yesterday going into this morning has been one of the coldest days and nights so far this year, and that is when the "Motor" on the Blower of our home furnace decided to die and it died around 4 am this morning. The heater would turn on, but no air was flowing through the vents. Luckily, we had two pretty nice space heaters to help keep the house from freezing. When I woke up this morning to call the Heater Repairman, the inside of the house was 64 degrees F. It was pretty chilly but it would have been worse without the space heaters. The Heater Repairman came and replaced the Motor on the Blower. He left around an hour ago. It was an unexpected expense , but it was something that needed to be repaired. It was around 20 years old.

I'd love 64 degrees for sleeping, but would croak during the day. I'm sure it was worth every penny to have it repaired!

I'm glad you got that fixed. Do you get many frosty nights in Georgia?

I hope it wasn't too expensive but at least it was repairable.

I'm glad he was able to come out right away and repair it. This is not a good time of year to be without heat in the house. Even in Georgia.

Yes, and if it continues with the temps we had today, it is going to be a long winter.

I am glad your heater is repaired. I'm sure the cold would be unbearable without some form of heating.
