The drive to take Tony to his doctor appointment was good, I mean it usually takes 45-60 minutes to get there and I made it in 30 minutes. The receptionist did not ask for a co pay or the whole amount, nothing, when I signed him in and told her I would wait out in the hall since someone decided to bathe in cheap stinky perfume. The nurse that is as fake as the diamond ring I wear, was her usual self. Now to see Dr. Yum Yum and tell on the fake nurse,The front desk? I let it go since I got in without paying first. This doctor is awesome, he knows his stuff and he listens. Since Tony has caught something, we did tell him about the coughing and runny nose. Tony told him I gave him medication to stop the snot factory, not in those words, and he looked at me smiled an said " way to go doc!" He told him he sounds clear and he does not want to give him anything, This was my opening, I said " oh yeah, I showed him the print out of Tony medication, I noticed his chart has not been update since last year when he got out of the hospital," no more Dr, Yum yum smiling. I continued " Do you think we can try to get the Anoro now that he has went through all the other inhalers, he is doing awesome on it?" He said " Sure, we can try it." And I gave him the pharmacy phone number. He said be right back and left the door open, I overheard him tell the fake nurse "I need you to type this up in file." He returned with Tony 2 more inhalers and closed the door. Now we sat and talked about fishing, this doctor loves to fish with his sons Up to the check out counter and to make a 3 month appointment, The lady looked at the screen and said, "did we get th co pay" I said " no you did not because I did not pay one and I am not paying today." Another lady walked over and pointed to the screen, I have no idea what it said but I told her I would pay the bill in January and that I will not forget since he is at the oncology every 2 weeks. She handed me a card with the appointment and said "Merry Christmas." Next I went shopping at Publix the total before coupons was $68.98, After coupons I paid $19.98 with the savings of $49 I went to walmart across the street and I got diabetes test strip, trash bags, hair color and Tony a shirt for Christmas and My sister a pair of extra small sweat pants as her gift that she told me she needs by saying hint hint an that was still just $39! Today was a good day. How was your day?
