Woke Up Dead

Maybe the title is a little dramatic, but its been years, I mean years since I have felt like this.
Tony woke up Tuesday morning sick with a cold, coughing, sneezing and feeling terrible. Since he has a lower immune system I expected this sooner or later and each day he has gotten worst.
I woke up with the sorest throat I have ever had and my body just feels like a boneless blob that cannot move.
I did see on the news that the South is getting hit by the flu but Alabama is still in the moderate section, I should not get the full blown flu because I take the shot, unless there is a new strain going around, if so ...... Doomed.
I am now having very hot coffee and I will scan my medicine box to see what I have for a cold and daytime use.
I will have to get over this, I have to work outside on the backyard dogs fence today while its going to be in the upper 50`s. I reckon I better call and cancel my dental appointment to get the tooth fixed.
Deep sigh.

Oh no I'm so sorry you are so sick. That is the problem -it seems like every year there is a new strain. I do hope you can shake it fast.

Oh, Andria, I'm so sorry to hear both of you are sick. I know you're responsible for most everything, but please remember that even young people can end up very ill in the hospital with the flu and pneumonia. Take care of yourself.

I am still sick and have coughs and colds. What you described was what I had felt last Monday. It's getting better everyday but I am still barking. I am taking medicines and drinking lemon hot drinks with honey. I hope you will feel better soon.

I hope you both a speedy recovery.
I woke up early and feeling good but went to bed at 11:30 PM last night which is a bit earlier than usual. I'll try to do the same tonight!

I have heard a lot of concern about the flu strains this year and the shot is supposed to help. I am glad to hear you got one. I usually use Dayquil (or a generic) when I have a cold and it good for daytimes.Good luck to you and Tony.

I have a problem with cold meds, I cannot take them and that is a big problem. I am doing cough syrup and I can take the alka selter cold but at night.

I'm happy today. I just sent my post birthday gift to my friend through PayPal. Told him to watch a movie with his best friend. He was surprised with my gift. He likes it.

I have also been suffering from fever and this morning felt better but mild pain in the throat was still there. So it might be a good idea to have a cup of tea.

A cold virus is not necessarily the flu, and it can feel almost as bad. Do not go too long without seeking treatment if you need it. I definitely did not have the flu but I am sick, have been sick and continue to feel sick.

It is nighttime here and my day was just spent on the PC. The dark comes at 4 PM so the best thing is to just keep watching something and working on the net. Soon I will watch some Christmas movies. Hope you feel much better soon and have a good day.
