How did they do that?

I just saw an incredible video on Facebook. One of those heartwarmers. The video showed and described a lady leading her full sized horse down the hallways of a nursing home. The residents sure had a fantastic time petting and meeting the horse. Such joy! I wonder how they kept the rather large animal from messing all over the floors in that building? He or she looked and acted calm and movie star gorgeous but nature is nature.

Oh wow, that'd be something to share here. Can you access it if you go to the page it came from?

I don't know @rebelann. Made me think of @Hatley. I wish she had some one in her part of the world bringing in critters.

My goodness, that is interesting, I am not sure it would be a go at the nursing home where my mother is. But I can imagine that residents loving it.

@BelleStarr I've brought my littlest pup to a nursing home and gotten lots of appreciative reviews but a big horse! Just wow.

The people really livened up when they saw the horse. Seeing them engage in life was beautiful.

I'd love to see her horse too, but not walking down our hallway! LOL

@kobesbuddy My Dad loved to show off. Once when I was a teen, he brought one of the horses into the kitchen to meet one of the guests. I can still hear the hard clop, clop on the floor.

@kobesbuddy Dad could get a bit tetched at times. I guess he had fun that afternoon. The horse had a bit of trouble turning around, not banging into the stove.

I only know about dogs visiting old people's homes and kindergartens.
