Another place to find gifts / myLot

My husband had a meeting last week that was held in our local hospital. I had heard good things about the hospital's gift shop. I figured I'd snoop in it while I waited for him to get through his meeting. Bing Crosby crooned out old timey Christmas songs while I shopped. It wasn't very large but the little shop was merrily decked out. I found a lovely scarf for my daughter there. It didn't cost a lot and had some texture to it. Very pretty. I believe the money that I spent goes to a good cause, too. I left with a little more Christmas spirit.

What a lucky find. I've only shopped in a hospital giftshop once but everything was so expensive I didn't buy anything.

@rebelann Really? This scarf cost under 10 dollars. I figure that as a reasonable price for a Christmas gift.

@jstory07 Good idea. I'm not good with doctors. The gift shop made the hospital seem a friendlier place, not just a place where I'd be tortured.

What a good gift for your daughter. In the past, I've found that hospital gift shops are quite more expensive than normal stores, but maybe they're changing.
