I Drive Myself Crazy

United States
December 15, 2017 8:53am CST
With Christmas right around the corner and with plenty to keep me busy I needed to sit and relax a little. What better way for me to relax than to read. As I was between books I decided on Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware. My plan was to read a chapter or two and then get back to things that needed to get done. Wrong! my plan didn't work out, I read far into the night and now my things to do today are twice as much. But, that book is calling me and I know at some point it's going to win because now I just have to know how it ends.

I did finish it and it was really good. It was a good mystery and I couldn't figure out who did it

It's so nice to have a book that doesn't want to be pushed aside, but then there's the matter of the undone stuff.

All the undone stuff is waiting for me today but I did finish my book and it was worth the read. Now I have to tackle everything I didn't do yesterday

I can tell by the title that is one I would like. I made the mistake of starting a triology. I can not afford to buy books twp and three but I might buy just book three since I dont want to be left hanging.

Do you have a kindle? I joined a free book site (Ebook bike) and have downloaded a whole bunch of books that I've been reading for free.

I think that a little relaxing reading is really time well spent. The chores and work will wait.

It reminds me of when I was reading "Malcom X" years ago, I just could not put it down.

When I find a good book like that I find it's in my head while I'm doing other things and I can't wait to get back into reading it

I have to admit I stay quite active but the holiday this year is a bit to much. Noise, noise, noise everywhere I go... I just want to curl up with a good 5 magazines and rest this weekend. Which I'll be doing. Caught my first cold.

@WendySpickerman curling up with some magazines is a good way to relax and take time for yourself. Sorry to hear that you caught a cold
