It's your fault your children act that way

My friend was telling me about her nephew and his behaviour. She was trying to justify his brhaviour. He has been abusive towards teacher, and mouthing off in grade 2. I told her it comes back to the lack of parenting. If the parents don't teach them right to wrong the child feels it is right. My younger brother is a ket example of this. He is now 20s and doesn't feel to work or pay bills, steali g is acceptable.

We can't expect children to behave if they haven't been taught anything by their parents.

The parents do have a duty to discipline their child it is quite unsettling that some parents just let their kids loose just because they are still young

There are some kids that were born to be naughty. Parenting is a tough one. It needs to be so patient enough to teach the right things of their children.

@ricki_911 I think it shows the escape goating act. That's not a good way to handle the situation.

But allowing it and blaming others shows the lack of parenting.

Kids do what they learn and sometimes do bad things because they get no attention for the good things that they do.

Yes, that is true. But it always comes back to the parenting skills

@Marty1 i remember reasing something online about it once. But parents are busy being selfish. They don't have time to parent.

Definitely agree with this. The person/s I thought of are my nephew and niece. I have to put the blame on my sister's lack of parenting skills.

Parents don't take action now a days and expect professionals to do it.

I agree with you 100%! People look at me like I'm insane when I say I love Home Schooling my kids and I love spending time with them. We raised them to be respectful, grateful, to love the Lord and be helpful to others. They aren't perfect of course, no one is but they are good kids!

@ricki_911 No! They know right from wrong because they have been taught since they were babies. Home Schooling is the only option in my mind-I have seen and heard too many horror stories as well.

But they certain wouldn't kick or swear at the teacher. I tried explaining if he learnt that now it has to do with the parents. I would be home schooling after hearing some horror atories
