I am new to linkn, a social site that I use to promote my blogs, and I am often adding people here and there. I got an email from this guy and he aid he knows me and named his company where he works and said I used to use it, I may have the company is one I may have used back in 2005. Well, he said I was very alluring and he would like to have coffee with me. I will look him up on line, I am not sure about meeting people from online, Right now working 2-3 jobs I really dont have time for anyone. What would you do?

If I did meet him it would be in a very public place and I wouldn't give him a lot of info on myself. There are just to many nuts in the world. Be careful.

I would ignore it myself. I don't trust random guys who hit me up on social media.

I am not sure. But I think it is fine to meet new friends online.

I hope he is telling the truth. If you meet him to not go alone.

If anything, there's always room for another friend.

I would ignore it. I'm surprised people used that site to try to land dates. I occasionally get messages like that from men on Facebook, but I never respond to them.

@andriaperry That's understandable. Of course that could just be a line he's giving. My sister got a weird message from a man recently who claimed he saw her posts in a Susan Boyl fan group and felt compelled to write, but she's in no such groups.

Yes I do too and I ignore them. But this one said he remember me from his work place, I want to know who it is.

I once had a four year relationship with a girl that I met online. I guess coffee couldn't hurt.
