Order of the day, warm honey water and tissues

My first winter cold has hit. I've been pushing myself for two weeks now and it's been growing stronger every day. Yesterday, I was so thankful Friday arrived. I had to take a sick day and demand a break to rest this weekend. Sneezing, sniffles, sore throat, cough, headache, eyes sensitive to light, and ears. Good grief Laid up in bed with warm honey water to sooth my throat and tissues. From my view, I can watch the snow outside fall. Hope my photo loads from my phone.

@amadeo it's been coming on bit by bit for two weeks and Friday it finally hit full strength. So this weekend I'm resting up.

I had this and it turned into pneumonia but my immune system is not strong. I'm still talking raspy and I'm on day 20. I hope you rest and listen to your body to get well fast. I didn't at first so it's taking longer. Sipping hot tea with honey helped sooth me. Get well soon.

Hope you do feel better soon. I also like warmed lemon juice in my drinks when I have a cold.

I often like lemon. This is usually taken when I lose my voice. Luckily, this is just a scratchy throat and the honey does wonders to coat it nicely.

@rina110383 I think most of the changes are due to the environment. I have been sneezing for the last 2 days, when I got up in the morning

Hope you feel better soon. That tea AND the cup looks good. Turmeric milk is a go to solution for sniffles here

Thanks I will. Hd a good night sleep and woke at 7 a.m. this morning. Took a nice shower, let my hair dry natural, made a pot of warm honey water, which has helped greatly with my throat, two scrambled eggs and had apple sauce. Back in bed for the day with a long week ahead.
