My shopping trip

Well as I mentioned I had some shopping and errands to do today. I looked at the sales flyer online for the store in the bigger town, and didn't see anything I was dying to have so I confined myself to the stores in the little town and the few that are out by the lake. I went to the IGA type small grocery store first. I thought they had some decent values like Birdseye veggies for 99 cents, and an affordable can of pumpkin puree. I also got some chicken broth which I wasn't sure was the best value, but it seemed priced decently. Then I went to Family Dollar less than a block away. While I was waiting for the manager to dig out the cheap cat litter..which my cat doesn't like, but circumstances now dictate I buy, I perused the soup aisle and saw the chicken broth for about 80 cents less!!! Naturally, I returned the first container across the street. I think Food Lion basically had average values..It is cheaper to go to the cities to buy most items surprisingly enough. I just got a few things there plus my meds. Do you return items if you see them cheaper somewhere else?

Yes, we sure do return items, when they are less expensive in a different store. We go to the city about every other week, to get better buys on food items. Also, we pick up some building supplies, for our remodeling job at Home Depot, Lowes, or Menards.

Well 80 cents was a pretty big difference I thought.

Yes I try to. Who won't like to save some money. Recently I returned school blazers of my kids as I found them cheaper than it on some other shop.

I try to shop for sales but I don't generally return something unless there's a big difference in price

It wasn;t a big deal to return this as it was just a block away.

We never do, as we mostly buy from one store and when we don't buy there its only two other stores we buy from and we always check sales first.

I never have. I mainly shop at Walmart, and they have an app that will search the area for cheaper prices, if they find any you can get the money back for their store. I think in six months I've received back 150 dollars. This really helps when we're broke.
