How many of you with cats that use a litter box make it their own way?

I will explain better here. When I change Sophie's litter box she does not leave it the way I do it. She makes it her own. She pushes the sand to one corner and uses that. My cat I had before her left it the way it was, but, Sophie makes it her own.
How many of your cats make the litter box their own too?

they say that cats are the cleanest of all felines because they cover their pee and poop. but maybe the real reason is, their pee and poop smell so bad.
we do not have cats but dogs as pets.

I think it's survival. We used to have wild, untameable cats on the farm. We could watch from a distance - they would dig a "potty" in the ground" do their business, and then cover it up. I think it's so predators can't smell it so easy

Faye, Sophie liked to chase around in it and it is so funny to watch her. She is a funny cat.

Yes Hanni, my cat used to do her own litter box straightening. Guess she did not like my system, lol.

Robin, my Sophie lives inside and until I get the porch set up so she cannot jump down anywhere she stays inside unless I go out there and she can go out with me. She is not an outside cat though.
