Church, Laundry, Football

It's going to be a busy day for me. I will be leaving for church in just a couple hours. Afterwards, I will be going to my son's to do laundry, and then there's football.
Today is the Packers and Panthers at their home stadium. Aaron Rodgers is back today from his injury, and I'm hoping for a solid win to keep our playoff hopes alive.
So you won't see me for a good portion of the day. Being up early as I always am on Sunday, I have already finished with my notifications and must get something to eat now and get ready for church.
I hope you all have a great Sunday, this second to last Sunday before Christmas. I hope all your Christmas shopping is done and you only need to wrap them and put them under your tree.
At some point today, I will watch another Christmas movie. From my collection I have now watched Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone and Home Alone 2, and It's a Wonderful Life. I'm not sure yet which one I'll watch today, but I have many to choose from, including the animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I also put a couple Christmas specials on my DVR yesterday.
I also have writing to do today. So it will be a busy day. What are your plans for today? Thanks for reading and have a good day.

It was busy. I think I broke the record yesterday for fewest hours on the computer. I might have been on here for three hours, from the time I got up and posted my Daily Bible Study, to posting this. I wasn't able to get back to the computer at all yesterday, except for a few minutes last night, but I was so tired, I just shut it off and went to bed.

It's already evening here. Done cleaning my room, working on some Excel file of a client, shopping Christmas gifts for parents, and eating dinner. Will do a bit of browsing, then sleep. Have to go to the bank tomorrow.

My day did go okay. Church was good. The laundry got done. However, my football team lost their game
I love watching movies over again, especially my favorite holiday movies.
I hope you had a good day.

@just4him I did watch the Pack play. What I don't understand is that after the on-side kick that the Pack recovered, they should have been catching the ball and running out of bounds. With 2:00 left, they could have tied the game and gone into OT. The Cowboys barely won by a FG. With 1:44 left on a 4th&1, Dallas got a penalty flag and had to turn it over to the Raiders. They went all the way downfield and Carr tried doing a TD run on his own, which he dropped the ball just as he got to the line. It could have been a Raiders TD; which they would have beat us. I'm sorry about the Packers.

We know now that didn't happen. I don't know about your Cowboys, but the Pack didn't do so well. Aaron Rodgers was a bit rusty after being on the sidelines for 8 weeks. However, the score wasn't as bad as it could have been. I suspect he'll be sitting out the last two games and Hundley will be in again to finish out the season. I don't expect we'll be in the playoffs. Whether we do or not rests on tonight's game with Atlanta. If they lose, the Pack is in the Playoffs. It will be sad that they aren't in it this year. We've been in the playoffs 8 years running. Strange days ahead.
So did your Cowboys win?

Wow, what a busy day for you. I'm glad you have a place at your son's so as not to go to the laundromat.
I'm trying to stay in today, but things just keep pulling me outside.

Yes, I'm glad I can go there too. I can also go to my daughter's to do laundry. Yes, it's a huge savings over the laundromat.
What was so fascinating outside that you couldn't stay inside?
