“A stressful life will do you more harm than good.”

Most of us are a hard worker. We tried to work based on our personal goals. One thing for sure, we wanted to secure our future. The path to success is not an easy path. In this path, we usually meet difficulties in life. These difficulties can be considered our ‘stressors.’ It is so overwhelming situations. The downside part, if we cannot balance our life between stressors and family; then, our life will start to fall apart. The course of action is to keep our life in balance and deal with the stressors. “What do you think about this concern?” “How do you balance your life?” Image Credit: pixabay.com

It is a legit stressor and people need to decide which is worth it and sometimes find a different job or cut back hours etc.

I do agree on that. We need to prioritize which stressors really affects us. I must say that if the job really affects one's life, then it is about time to find a new job.

I also do the same thing. The best course of action is to stay away from these people.

Stress is no good for our health. I try to put things in perspective when stressed. When I do that, I usually realize that it's not worth stressing over.

If I am going to look back, I was a certified worrier person. Then, I realized what's the use of being stressed if things are turning upside down. It is better to deal the stressors one step at a time and if it cannot be solved overnight, then there is another day to face them.

I started work at twenty and slowed down after fifty but continued for another fifteen years at a slower pace. I am a professional accountant and I knew my salary could have been double but I did not want a stressful job at the cost of my health. I surmised I do not need that extra money anyway. Overall, I have no regrets at all and I have enough to manage the rest of my life - siva

Oh, boy! We have the same pattern of lifestyle. I was so high in expectations to reach certain goals and eager to reach them at a fast pace. But then, I realized it wasn't healthy at all. You can still pursue certain personal goals at a slow pace after all.

@Shiva49 You did say it right. I have a friend before who works like a madman. He ended up lying six feet under the ground. I am not sugar coating but it does happen.

"Life is not easy." I do agree with such phrase. We, humans are still gifted to have stressors in life. It is a matter of how we handle them.

I handle pressure by facing it and overcome it by diverting my mind into other things that would make me happy and relax and that is listening to music. With regards to your sentence talking about the path of success, I just want to impart something to you and that is "Do not go where the path may lead, but rather go instead where there is no path and leave a trail". Have a blessed day!

I do think that we can still go straight to a particular path, It wasn't an easy way. It could be in different directions. But then, a person should set their personal goals.

I can feel you, my friend. I am in such situation where I need to face my evil relatives. The only difference is to move out from the family house and to build a new house for the family. I was hoping that it will be resolved early next year. I do work hard for my family and take it slow in some other things.

Basically, I am also hiding in the house. I chose to work at home and stay with my family. There is no regret for choosing such life setup since I had found a good niche to provide things for my family and it brings the best of me.

I have found and still find myself in extreme situations, at such times, I do my best to extract myself from such situations, I have changed jobs due to this, unfriended people who aggravate my stress etc. But most of all, I am blessed to have family I can call and talk to. This process helps me a lot.

I will join you with such joy. I also cut the relationship abruptly for those people who had caused stress to my life. I don't need them and they can't help me if I am in trouble. My family and God are the motivators that keep me going.
