Hello everyone. Happy Sunday. It is 40 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is a beautiful day for our town's annual "Candy Cane Toss" that the Fire Department does. They drive the trucks through the town with Santa on the last one tossing candy canes to the kids. This morning my husband announced that he still can't keep anything down so I wound up cancelling our Sunday Funday. I didn't want my sister bringing her young children over nor our friend with his newborn. Unfortunately I had already filled up the 8 quart crockpot with sausage, peppers, and tomato sauce so my husband will be eating that all week. I can bring some into work for my coworker and her family. She has 3 teenage boys at home who eat anything that isn't nailed down. I also have everything for the Carmine's salad chopped up so I will be eating that all week but I enjoy it so that isn't a hardship. No big plans for the day now that the party is cancelled. My husband will be on the couch all day most likely. I need to finish my Christmas shopping. I was on it like gangbusters before Thanksgiving and then I stalled for weeks. Thank Darwin for Amazon Prime! What's everyone else up to today?
