My daughter brought me flowers

It was so nice to be awaken by my daughter last night. She brought home a floral arrangement she made at work. What a nice surprise. Floral arrangements have a nice way of lifting one's spirit when they are ill and at other times. Flowers can be soothing, welcoming, part of a celebration and even a part of mourning a death. What made the arrangement even more personal was that my daughter made it out of flowers they were just going to throw away after a day of work. Something they were going to just toss got created into something beautiful. My daughter knows me well. I shop for dying flowers and bring them back to life. So, for her to do this, she knew it would hold even more meaning for me. I think I will have her make my wedding flowers when the day comes. And this spring I'll have her do those too.
