You really cannot fix this, from my experience, it is easier to accept that unreciprocated love can hurt but life has to go on and with time and distance, one will find true mutual love (most of the times) with someone else. I have waked away from such situations in the past, I would rather be on my own, than with someone I do not love or loves me unconditionally.
