Wet red chicken!

Well, she isn't a chicken but she's a wet red hen in any case. The girl does NOT enjoy her showers! I do them weekly in the summer or even more often when she is outside in her cage on the patio during the day and I can spray her with the hose out there.
During the winter, though, I only shower her like every other week or so so as not to dry out her skin. When that happens she starts scratching, especially around her eyes, and she gets bald patches all over her face. It isn't a good look.
She is going nuts at the moment on her boing (twisted rope perch that hangs from the ceiling in the corner of the kitchen). She is dancing on it, then racing up and down it, then climbing up it rung by rung. . . it is quite a sight to see. I think the shower has energized her. I guess this is her way of "blow-drying".

@NJChicaa So you called a chicken because she's afraid to take her showers?

@JolietJake I'm not tech-savvy enough to do that. I still can't get my freaking iTunes music that my husband *supposedly* sent to my new iPhone X to actually PLAY on/from it.

Rarely do I see a red parrot. Her color is perfect for the holidays.

Do you make videos of her on youtube? I would love to see some if so. My parrots skin is so dry he has dandruff.
