Did you check grammar while posting?

I know myLot is not so strict on writing flawless you can share your mind here. But it is a learning website also. So do you check for grammar mistakes before posting you posts. Many a times I have seen bad grammar here and some mistakes in spelling. But again that is permissible to some extent. Many a times it is just a silly mistake while we do not check before posting. It will be better I think though time consuming. What do you say?

I agree with @hereandthere , this site is a social site, wherein anybody can tell their stories and express their thoughts freely. One of the reasons why I like mylot is because everybody has the chance to write without being judged. Personally, I am not conscious about my grammar, I usually write with a heart.

That is true that is why I said it is not so strict .If you write with your heart it is the best way.You can communicate your feelings freely.

because mylot is a casual, social site. however, i admit i get off-track when some don't realize they used a sound-alike word.

Sometimes, I do. If I'm in a hurry because of urgent tasks, I dispense with proofreading.

I guess it is fine to a certain extent but it is better to have like grammar corrected before posting. I have been confused by certain posts due to the occasional misuse of words.

I access mylot from my ipod and I don't have spell check on it. I should see how to turn it on though as it would be helpful! As far as grammer goes I am terrible at it so I'm sorry to those who read what I writ me but I can't correct mistakes I don't know.

I do post what I like, even native English people do not give much to grammatical errors; a social site is not strict on language, Yet I do try to check sometimes, but not every time.

Most of my errors are from my autocorrect and my haste in not proofreading! lol

I do not check my grammar when posting any comments or dicussions here. myLot is a friendly community and I believe it is very okay for us to post whatever we had in mind and in any way we are going to spell each words. Thinking that not everyone in here is good with english language.

I agree that we need to take care and make sure that we check on spelling and grammar before posting.
