If Jesus paid you a visit at your front door, would you welcome Him into your home?

I often pray that one day Jesus will pay me a visit. I was once asked by my doctor, if you had one wish to be granted, what would that wish be? I answered him saying, "My best wish would be that Jesus came to see me at my front door and asks me to follow Him and I would welcome Him to my home and I would walk out that door to follow Him." The doctor actually began to cry.

How would you know it was truly Jesus and not some prankster or misguided fool?

Good point. If Jesus was real I would know it. It hasn't happened. But I fully agree that there are many imposters who like to fool us.

@BarBaraPrz He'll have to do something before I believe it and let him in.

@amadeo , I have no idea when He will arrive. It says in the Bible that no man will know the hour. So from that I leave this discussion hoping it has provided some good feelings and not become the object of ridicule.

Like you, I would be happy to invite him in! However, do you really think Jesus makes house calls?

@lookatdesktop No doubt. But I would need some real proof before I let someone that claims to be Jesus into my home.

He would if He wanted to, of course.

@1hopefulman , I have a feeling that if Jesus actually did arrive at my door steps, I would know it because there is probably a different type of power that comes from someone who is so divine, that somehow, in my own heart of hearts, I would know it was Him, not an imposter. I have seen people who followed a false prophet, back in the 70's. It was obvious these people, wearing white robes were blindingly following some type of guru who proclaimed to go by the name of Jesus Christ Lightening Amen. It was quite disturbing to me to see this kind of strange cult like behavior. By the same token, as a matter of fact, I think the real Jesus Christ would have a hard time convincing most people today that He was the real deal. I mean, people are so paranoid these days that police would probably have the real Jesus Christ arrested for just being Himself, as most people do not even believe in Him to begin with and think He is a myth or a legend.
